Formation of a dedicated temple board

Appointment of a CEO for temple management

Strict devotee flow regulations and emergency protocols

Transparent fund usage audits and accountability

Located in Vrindavan, Mathura

One of the most revered Krishna temples in India

Attracts lakhs of devotees every month

Previously witnessed stampedes, overcrowding, and mismanagement

“Absolute lack of crowd control”

Misuse of temple donations

Risk to life due to poor safety infrastructure

No structured accountability mechanism

🗣️ State Government’s Response

Uttar Pradesh’s Law Minister stated:

“The ordinance will ensure devotee safety, efficient governance, and restoration of faith in public temple management.”

🔍 What's Next?

The ordinance is expected to be tabled in the upcoming assembly session.

A public feedback mechanism may be opened before full implementation.

Temple priests and local stakeholders are being consulted for inputs.
