Police said that after the argument escalated, Ramesh allegedly attacked Suresh with a wooden log, causing severe head injuries. Neighbours rushed to the scene upon hearing screams, but the victim had already succumbed to his injuries.

The police have registered a case under Section 302 of the IPC (murder) and arrested the accused. He is currently under judicial custody.
