Ferrari SF90 Stradale Evades Taxes in Bengaluru — Traced and Under Investigation

A red Ferrari SF90 Stradale, valued at over ₹7.5 crore, has been traced by Bengaluru authorities after it allegedly evaded registration taxes by using fraudulent number plates and forged out-of-state documents.

The luxury supercar, which had been spotted across Bengaluru’s high-end neighborhoods for weeks, came under scrutiny during a random RTO (Regional Transport Office) inspection near UB City.

🚨 What Happened?

The Ferrari bore a Pondicherry registration number, raising red flags with the Karnataka transport department.

Upon investigation, officials found that no valid tax had been paid in Karnataka, despite the vehicle being stationed in the city for over 9 months.

The documents were allegedly forged to avoid ₹1.5 crore in road tax.

“This isn't an isolated case. It signals a rising trend of luxury tax evasion,” said a senior RTO inspector.

⚖️ Legal Repercussions

The car has been seized, and a FIR has been filed under sections of the Motor Vehicles Act and IPC for forgery.

The owner is being investigated for financial fraud and potential involvement in a supercar tax-evasion ring.
