Harbour Line Night Services Suspended from Aug 5 to 9: Is Your Route Affected?

What’s Happening?

Central Railway has announced a night block on the Harbour Line between August 5 and 9, from 10:45 PM to 3:45 AM, to facilitate electronic interlocking upgrades at Vashi station. This crucial modernization will improve train safety and efficiency.

🚦 Affected Services

❌ Cancellations:

Down locals from CSMT to Vashi at 9:50 PM, 10:14 PM, and 10:30 PM cancelled nightly.

Up locals from Vashi to CSMT at 4:03 AM, 4:15 AM, 4:25 AM, 4:37 AM, 4:50 AM, and 5:04 AM will be cancelled on the first three days. Only two (4:03 AM & 4:25 AM) will be cancelled on the last two days.

🔁 Partial Services:

Belapur–CSMT local at 8:54 PM will terminate at Vashi.

Belapur–CSMT at 9:16 PM and Bandra–CSMT at 10:00 PM will terminate at Vadala Road.

Panvel–Vashi locals at 10:50 PM and 11:32 PM will terminate at Nerul.

🕔 Morning Adjustments:

CSMT to Panvel services at 4:52 AM and 5:30 AM, and Vadala Road to Panvel at 5:06 AM and 5:52 AM will originate from Nerul.

CSMT–Goregaon local at 5:10 AM will now start from Vadala Road.
