A tragic motorbike accident in Vietnam claimed the life of a 21-year-old Indian medical student, Arshid Ashrith, from Kagaznagar, Telangana, leaving the Indian student community in shock and mourning.

💥 The Fatal Crash: What Happened?

The incident occurred in the early hours of Wednesday near Bung Xang Lake in Ninh Kieu District of Can Tho City. Arshid, a third-year MBBS student at Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy, was riding a 150cc motorbike with another Indian student as a pillion passenger.

Due to wet road conditions, the bike skidded uncontrollably and crashed into the concrete wall of a nearby home, causing a two-meter collapse in the wall’s structure.

Surveillance footage from a nearby house captured the terrifying moment of impact. The bike is seen veering off course before colliding head-on with the wall.

Arshid was thrown 5 meters away from the crash site

He died on the spot due to severe head injuries

His fellow passenger is critically injured and undergoing treatment at a local hospital

Back home in Kumuram Bheem Asifabad district, Telangana, Arshid’s parents—owners of a small clothing shop—were shattered upon receiving the news.
