Q3 Results: Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders' consolidated net profit during the quarter ended December 2024 increased by 29.33% to ₹807.04 crore compared to ₹623.87 crore in the year-ago quarter.
Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders revenues from operations came in at ₹3,143.62 crore during the October-December 2024 quarter, clocking a 30% year-on-year (YoY) increase compared to ₹2,362.47 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
On a sequential basis, the net profit growth was 38.7% over ₹581.84 crore during the September 2024 quarter. Meanwhile, revenue from operations grew 14% on-quarter compared to ₹2,756.83 crore in the preceding quarter.
Operating performance for Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders saw a robust improvement during the December 2024 quarter. The profit before tax and exceptional items came at ₹1,062.57 crore, up 35.14% year-on-year (YoY) over ₹786.23 crore in the year-ago quarter. Meanwhile, the figure witnessed a sharp 43.5% improvement sequentially over ₹740.49 crore during the September 2024 quarter.
Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders the, Navratna Defence PSU, in mid-January, had announced the developments about 01 Training ship for the Indian Coast Guard. While the production of the training ship commenced on April 26, 2024, the Keel laying ceremony of the 01 Training ship was held on January 13, 2025, which was another milestone achievement
Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders share price opened at ₹2197.55 on the BSE on Friday, almost flat as compared to the previous close. However, the stock gained and rose 3% to an intra-day high of ₹2,275.25 post Q3 results announcements.
