The National Testing Agency (NTA)has released an important notification regarding the *NEET UG 2025* exam, one of India’s most competitive and sought-after medical entrance exams. Aspiring medical students should take note of the key details to ensure a smooth application process and proper preparation.  

Important Details from the Notice  

Exam Date 
   The NTA has announced that the *NEET UG 2025* exam is scheduled to take place on *Sunday, May 4, 2025*. This date ensures that students have ample time to prepare and organize their schedules.  

Registration Process
   - The *online application window* will open in the *first week of December 2024* and close in the *third week of January 2025*.  
   - Candidates must visit the official website of NTA (https://neet.nta.nic.in) to fill out the application form.  

Eligibility Criteria
   - *Age Limit:* Candidates must be at least *17 years old* as of December 31, 2025.  
   - *Educational Qualification:* Students must have passed or be appearing for their Class 12 board exams with *Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English* as core subjects.  
   - A minimum of *50% marks* in PCB (40% for reserved categories) is required.  

Admit Card Release 
   The admit cards will be released *two weeks before the exam*, and candidates can download them from the official NTA website.  

Exam Pattern  
   - The exam will consist of *200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs)*, divided into two sections: Section A (140 questions) and Section B (60 questions).  
   - Subjects covered: *Physics, Chemistry, and Biology* (Botany and Zoology).  
   - The exam duration will be *3 hours and 20 minutes*.  
   - The paper will be available in *13 languages*, including English, Hindi, and regional languages.  

Syllabus
   The NEET UG 2025 syllabus will remain the same as the previous year, based on the NCERT curriculum for Classes 11 and 12. Students are advised to focus on key topics in *Physics, Chemistry, and Biology* for better preparation.

   NTA has set up a helpline to assist candidates with the application process and other queries. The helpline number and email will be provided on the official website.
