Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) reported a blockbuster Q1 FY26 consolidated net profit of ₹30,783 crore, reflecting a robust 76.5% year-on-year increase compared to ₹17,434 crore in Q1 FY25. This record profit was significantly boosted by a one-time gain of ₹8,924 crore from the strategic sale of its stake in Asian Paints.

Revenue from operations grew moderately by around 5.3% year-on-year to ₹2,48,660 crore, driven by strong performances in core businesses including telecommunications and retail. Reliance Jio crossed remarkable milestones, surpassing 200 million 5G subscribers and nearly 20 million home broadband connections, while Reliance Retail posted an 11.3% revenue growth to ₹84,171 crore.

The company’s Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortisation (EBITDA) rose nearly 11% to ₹42,905 crore, with the operating margin improving to 17.25% from 16.41% in the corresponding quarter last year.
