Suspended Punjab Agri University Staffer Reinstated; His Wife Dies of Heart Attack
Ludhiana, Punjab: In a tragic turn of events, a suspended employee of the Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) was reinstated to his position only to be met with personal loss, as his wife reportedly died of a heart attack soon after the news.
The staffer, who had been under suspension for an extended period due to undisclosed administrative reasons, received his reinstatement orders earlier this week. According to university sources, the news of his reinstatement brought momentary relief to the family, but the situation turned grim when his wife collapsed at home and was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she was declared dead on arrival.
Colleagues and university staff have expressed their condolences, describing the incident as a cruel twist of fate. “He waited so long for justice. It’s heartbreaking that when it finally came, he had to face such an unbearable loss,” said a colleague who wished to remain anonymous.
University officials have yet to release an official statement on the matter. The staffer's identity is being withheld out of respect for the family's privacy during this difficult time.
