At least five tourists sustained injuries after terrorists opened fire in the Baisaran area of Pahalgam, a popular hill destination in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Eyewitnesses reported panic and chaos as the attackers began firing at a group of visitors in the lush meadows during the afternoon. The injured were swiftly evacuated by local authorities and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Their current condition is said to be stable.
