Uttar Pradesh Launches Employment Drive for Divyangjan: A Step Toward Inclusive India
In a significant move towards inclusive development, the Government of Uttar Pradesh has rolled out a large-scale employment initiative for Divyangjan (persons with disabilities). Launched in August 2025, this campaign is designed to offer equal job opportunities, skill development training, and support infrastructure to help Divyangjan become financially independent and socially empowered.

Speaking at the launch, officials from the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities emphasized the government’s commitment to “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas” — ensuring no one is left behind. The program also ties in with India’s broader goals under the Accessible India Campaign (Sugamya Bharat Abhiyan).
