🧠 First, Know the Difference:
✅ UPI ID Error
Usually instant transfers. A wrong UPI ID may cause:
❌ Failed transaction
✅ Money sent to another user (if the wrong UPI exists)
✅ IFSC Code Error
Happens during NEFT, RTGS, or IMPS
❌ Invalid IFSC = Transfer usually fails
✅ Wrong but valid IFSC = Money may go to wrong bank/branch
🚨 Step-by-Step Action Plan
🟡 Step 1: Check the Transaction Status
Open the Vizzve app
Go to “Transaction History”
Look for the UPI/Bank transfer entry
Check:
Status: Success, Pending, or Failed
Recipient name (if available)
UPI/Account details
🟡 Step 2: Act Fast — Report Immediately
If the transaction was successful but went to the wrong party:
📱 For UPI:
Use Vizzve App > Help > Chat Support > Select "Wrong UPI Transfer"
Provide:
Date/time
UPI ID entered
Screenshot of the transaction
🏦 For IFSC/Bank Transfers:
Use the same steps, but choose “Wrong IFSC Transfer”
⏳ Time is key—the sooner you act, the better your recovery chances.
🟡 Step 3: Contact the Recipient’s Bank (if needed)
If Vizzve confirms the transfer was successful to another account:
File a written request to the beneficiary bank
Include transaction ID, amount, time, and reason
Request reversal under wrong credit / erroneous transfer
Note: Reversal depends on the other party’s consent and bank policy.
