Built by Stefan Antoni Olmesdahl Truen Architects (SAOTA) led by Phillippe Fouche, the four-bedroom villa is built with a fusion of Californian and Konkan styles and embodies “raw luxury’’. The beach house perfectly captures the Konkan coast vibe with its high ceilings, an open layout, pristine stones, exotic Italian marbles, Turkish limestones, and more.
The house is built on 8-acre plot which was purchased by Virat and Anushka in 2022 for around Rs 19 crore. The luxurious property designed Avās Design Studio features a Balinese sukabumi stone-clad temperature-controlled pool, a customised kitchen by German brand Poggenpohl, four bedrooms and four bathrooms, a jacuzzi, a sprawling garden, covered parking, staff quarters, and more.
But what does Virat like most about the house? “The most interesting feature is the double-height cut-out ceiling in the living space, as it welcomes natural light. The more light… the better its energy,” he shared in the same AD interview.
